enchanted places

In October we went to Door County for a few days. We were hiking in Newport State Park, and came across these amazing rock formations. It was like being in an enchanted forest. Whyboy collected ferns in case we ran into any dinosaurs. Mostly we enjoyed the quiet space, together.

  1. That looks just like my favourite kind of hiking spot. I agree with Whyboy, it does feel prehistoric! My girls usually look for trolls and dragons.

  2. We are always amazed that so few people use this state park...so many lovely hikes. There are back country campsites for when Whyboy is a bit bigger and able to carry a backpack.
